 our publications on Grasslands

This page gives an overview of our publications on grasslands and grassland-related topics. Much of our expertise was gained while working on grasslands on military sites, and much was written up in internal reports from the various employers we worked for. The work included the dry and also moderately nutrient-rich grasslands on airfields, Matt-grass swards on the larger training and shooting ranges, the "old-fashioned" farm grasslands of the Cynosurion and Arrhenatherion, for example along the Meuse River, the more natural-looking grasslands in the dunes, and the pioneer grasslands in all kinds of places in the built and non-built environment, like parking lots and foot paths. On barracks, we have worked on the vegetation of lawns, a very different type of grassland.
