Botanical (or floristic) inventories can be used in many ways and a multitude of methods are applied to get a useful inventory of the occurring plant species. The choice of method largely depends on the intended goal and use of the obtained data.
De Ronde & Haveman has much expertise in plant species inventories and the analysis of inventory and monitoring data. We have broad knowledge and excellent skills in species determination, and we know the Dutch flora extensively, including the notorious difficult genera Rubus (brambles) and Hieracium (hawkweeds). Our services include the historical-ecological interpretation of distribution patterns, the assesment of the ecological suitability for (endangered) plant species, the inventory and ecological interpretation of brambles and hawkweeds, and the interpretation of monitoring data from subsequent study periods.
